Recruiting Manager Jeannine Ogden shows a potential candidate how to ride the KeyLogic Segway

Attitude Is Everything As KeyLogic Hosts Career Invitationals

In an on-going effort to expand awareness throughout the professional community, KeyLogic hosts a series of career invitationals throughout the DC-Metro/West Virginia areas. Structured to include both informational sessions and one-on-one interactions, each event provides attendees with the opportunity to learn more about KeyLogic’s business units, corporate culture, and history.

Corporate executives are on-hand to answer questions and talk with attendees, which include representatives from teaming partners, local universities, and media outlets, as well as potential candidates. HR personnel are also available to provide on-the-spot interviews and collect resumes.

“We are able to meet and conduct preliminary interviews with several highly-qualified candidates,” says Jeannine Ogden, Recruiting Manager. “Everyone is so pleased to have this opportunity to learn more about the company and meet our team in-person. It reinforces the positive things they have learned about us throughout the community.”

Vice President Glenn Copen agrees that these events have been significant in bolstering KeyLogic’s pool of qualified resumes; however he is quick to stress that the on-paper employee is only part of the equation.

“The biggest thing is attitude,” says Copen. “We set the bar high at KeyLogic and expect a lot. We believe a lot of people want to be challenged and be in a job where they can show what they can do.”
