KeyLogic President/CEO Jon
Hammock has been recognized as the 2009 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the
Year for the Upstate New York, Western Pennsylvania, and West Virginia
region.
An independent judging panel
of regional business, academic, and community leaders selected this
exceptional group of entrepreneurs.
Finalists were judged on such criteria as growth, financial performance,
innovativeness,
future plans, community involvement, and corporate culture. A gala event was
held on June 19, 2009 at Carnegie Music Hall in Pittsburgh, PA to reveal the
winners.
The program has expanded
to recognize business leaders in 50 countries throughout the world. Awards
are given to entrepreneurs who demonstrate extraordinary success in the
areas of innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their
businesses and communities.
“This is a prestigious honor
and I am very
excited to be recognized
by
Ernst & Young among such a talented group of individuals and I am proud to
share it with all KeyLogic employees,” Mr. Hammock says proudly.
With family, friends, and
members of the KeyLogic team in attendance showing their support, Mr.
Hammock was recognized in the Technology category and will travel to Palm
Springs, CA this Fall to compete for the national award. These awards are
the culminating event of the Ernst & Young Strategic Growth Forum, the
nation’s most prestigious gathering of high-growth, market-leading
companies. The event will be hosted by Jay Leno and will feature the largest
