KeyLogic Receives New Contract, Continues Award-Winning Work with EPA
OCFO
KeyLogic will continue its award-winning budget systems
support for the Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of the Chief
Financial Officer (EPA’s OCFO). The five-year contract, valued at
$15.5 million, makes the EPA KeyLogic's largest federal customer.
KeyLogic staff have been supporting budget and
performance integration for the EPA’s headquarters and ten regional offices
for nearly ten years. Our team developed and currently maintains the EPA
OCFO’s Budget Automation System (BAS), which assists the agency in complying
with the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA). GPRA is
“performance yardstick” legislation requiring agencies to connect resources
with performance goals, develop annual and strategic plans, and track and
report progress annually.
BAS helped enable the EPA to receive numerous
recognitions for financial performance. The EPA was one of only nine
agencies to receive a green light ranking for financial performance on their
first quarter 2007 President’s Management Agenda (PMA) Scorecard - a ranking
they attained and have maintained since their second quarter 2003 Scorecard.
BAS also helped the EPA to qualify as a finalist for the 2002 Presidential
Quality Award and to win the 2003 Presidential Quality Award for Management
Excellence, in the area of Improved Financial Performance, by accomplishing
"horizontal fusion" of all budget, performance and financial data across the
agency. As a direct result of KeyLogic's BAS support, EPA was honored
with a 2003 GCN magazine Agency Achievement Award for using
innovative technologies to create superior results for their agency and its
constituents.
