Rapid Growth Propels KeyLogic
Out of HUBZone Program
KeyLogic Systems is
pleased to announce that, due to our continued growth, we are exiting the
Small Business Administration (SBA) HUBZone program.
With rapid growth over
the last eight years resulting in more than 100 employees by the end of 2007,
exiting the HUBZone program at this time makes sense for KeyLogic. “We
believe in the HUBZone program”, said President Jon Hammock.
“We are proud to have been a part of something that has fueled economic
growth in historically underutilized business zones and provided dozens of
jobs throughout the last eight years to our employees living in these
areas.”
KeyLogic continues looking
to the future by building trusted partnerships with our clients and
providing turnkey knowledge management solutions.
Our corporate headquarters will remain in Morgantown,
West Virginia, and KeyLogic will continue to hire employees who reside in HUBZones.
Established in 1997, the
SBA HUBZone program is in line with the efforts of both the Administration
and Congress to promote economic development and employment growth in
distressed areas by providing access to more Federal contracting
opportunities. In order to be certified as a HUBZone business, the
company’s corporate headquarters must be in a located in a "historically
underutilized business zone" or HUBZone, designated by qualified census
tracts, and at least 35% of the company’s employees must reside in a HUBZone.
