KeyLogic Awarded EPA contract for Budget and Performance Measurement System

KeyLogic Systems has been awarded a contract for support of EPA’s budget and performance measurement system.  This is the first award for KeyLogic under the General Services Administration (GSA) HUBZone GWAC and the largest HUBZone GWAC award to date.  KeyLogic previously supported similar work for the agency by developing and maintaining EPA's Budget Automation System (BAS).

KeyLogic Systems provides the EPA with the technology that helps the agency maintain leadership in the budget and finance arena. With the use of KeyLogic's BAS, the EPA can track multiple budget elements and hundreds of thousands of individual line items in real time. This allows any detail of the agency's $8 billion budget to be viewed at will by individual, team or central review oversight and auditing personnel. Budget allocations, actual spending and declining balances by category or line item are now a simple matter of accounting "by the numbers." BAS provides EPA officials with a decision-support tool that facilitates informed business decisions - resulting in better performance, higher quality and increased value of their actions.

BAS' creative approach supports the EPA's efforts to comply with the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA). GPRA is a performance yardstick designed to help the agency connect their resources, objectives and tracking and reporting responsibilities within their annual, strategic fiscal planning.

“KeyLogic is excited about the opportunity to continue supporting EPA,” says Jeff Johnston, Project Manager for OCFO BAS.  “We are proud to contribute to their ultimate goal - a cleaner environment.”

KeyLogic specializes in Knowledge Management, Program Management and e-Government solutions that enable better business decisions for more successful organizations. KeyLogic is a SBA HUBZone Certified Company and can be easily accessed through a number of contracting vehicles including the GSA IT Schedule 70 and the GSA HUBZone GWAC.

The GSA HUBZone IT GWAC was designed to provide federal agencies with access to qualified HUBZone contractors, which allows for quick turnaround with only a 0.075% fee to GSA.  Industries under this contract are primarily engaged in providing electronic data processing services including the processing and preparation of reports and automated data entry.
