AKL Solutions JV Provides Proven Capabilities and Experience to Customers

AKL Solutions is a Joint Venture between Allegheny Science and Technology Corp. and KeyLogic dedicated to providing top-notch customer service and support.
AKL Solutions is a Joint Venture formed by Allegheny Science and Technology Corp., the protégé company, and KeyLogic Systems, Inc., the mentor company, which are two firms dedicated to providing top-notch customer services and support. This proven team was formed under the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) 8(a) Mentor-Protégé Program to provide customers with a low-risk, knowledgeable, and experienced partner solution, as well as 100% 8(a) and/or Small Business credit to the government.
Allegheny’s executive management team has successfully worked with KeyLogic on numerous projects over the past ten years. The combined team has excellent management and technical capabilities which have proven successful for such customers as the Department of Energy (DOE), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Department of Labor (DOL), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
"KeyLogic is a great company," says Allegheny President/CEO Arria Whiston. "I am excited about working with them. It's a good fit. We are both high-energy, high-quality companies."
AKL Solutions has already proven successful by winning prime contracts for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). Both companies look forward to joining forces again on future contracts and becoming the team of choice in the federal arena.
"The relationship with Allegheny is a very open, collaborative environment," says KeyLogic President/CEO Jon Hammock. "We treat them almost like they are one of us. We share a great deal of information about how we do business, and they do that as well. We are kind of thinking of each other first when an opportunity comes up."
