Position: Acquisition Management Practice Leader

Location: Falls Church, VA

KeyLogic is seeking a Senior Acquisition Management Analyst to build our practice in this critical area and to initially support the Defense information Systems Agency Joint Command and Control (JC2) Capability Program in Falls Church, VA. We are seeking a senior level Acquisition Management Manager to provide technical support to the JC2 Program, which is tasked with the development and deployment of the DoD's next-generation command and control capability. JC2 will be built upon a Service-Oriented Architecture to support Net-Centric operations and warfighting. Specific analyst tasks include assisting the JC2 Program in developing and coordinating Milestone B documents, addressing issues from JC2 partner agencies and organizations, and identify and provide recommendation to issues that may affect JC2 schedules and activities. The Acquisition Management Analyst will support the development of major systems acquisition planning documents, major RFP's and day to day Task Order development/staffing. He/she will participate in technical working group meetings and identify the effect on JC2 Program from DoD, Federal, and other agencies requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess the following traits and experience:

  • Prefer military experience and familiarity with the DOD 5000 series acquisition and software development process.

  • Proficiency with the standard Microsoft office products; MS Project a plus.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proven leadership in IT applications environment.

Required Education/Experience/Certifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10-12 years of leadership experience in an IT applications environment within military services.

  • Previous experience as a government contracting officer or specialist.

  • DAWIA, NCMA or PMP certifications focused on acquisition or contracting.

  • Current clearance - Secret or TS.
