Under the contract, SAIC with KeyLogic as one of its small business partners, supports command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance areas, in addition to all elements of the Global Information Grid.

Information Assurance is Critical to Mission Success

The Client: The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) a Combat Support Agency, engineers and provides command and control capabilities and enterprise infrastructure to continuously operate and assure a global net-centric enterprise in direct support to joint warfighters, National level leaders, and other mission and coalition partners across the full spectrum of operations.

The Challenge: DISA requires information technology (IT) services and solutions to be engineered in support of the military services, the Department of Defense (DoD), and other agencies of the federal government using a flexible vehicle for engineering and interoperability of net-centric capabilities.

The Solution: ENCORE II supports the DoD's transformation to a network-centric environment which seeks to improve situational awareness by enhancing how the military services share information. Under the contract, SAIC with KeyLogic as one of its small business partners supports command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance areas, in addition to all elements of the Global Information Grid. The Result: The SAIC Team and KeyLogic currently provide the Global Command and Control System – Joint (GCCS-J) with end-to-end Information Security services that safeguard sensitive material and ensures that the system is available to the warfighter at all times.
