Through this subcontract, KeyLogic provides support to the NASA IV&V Facility in the area of Project Management and Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Technical Services for Northrop Grumman prime contract NNG05CB17C. Specific tasking in this area includes programmatic support in the area of project leadership and management as well as technical support in the areas of verification (full lifecycle: requirements, design, implementation, and test) and validation (development of reference models and utilization of reference models for validation purposes) in support of IV&V task orders.

At present, KeyLogic personnel are supporting the Gamma Ray Large Area Space Telescope (GLAST), Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO), and Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) IV&V efforts in the following ways:

  • GLAST: KeyLogic personnel serve as the project lead for this IV&V effort.  KeyLogic personnel also provide support for technical analysis in the test program analysis phase, specifically leading the Command and Data Handling (C&DH) test plan/procedure analysis effort as well as conducting detailed analyses of C&DH test procedures.

  • LRO: KeyLogic personnel serve as the project lead for this IV&V effort.  KeyLogic personnel lead the effort to develop the use cases and activity diagrams to constitute the LRO Mission Basic Reference Model to be utilized for independent validation purposes.  KeyLogic personnel provide support for technical analysis in the design and implementation phases of the IV&V effort, providing analysis support for the evaluation of the LRO spacecraft flight software design and code. KeyLogic personnel provide support for technical analysis in the test program phases of the IV&V effort, providing analysis support for the evaluation of the LRO Core Flight Executive (cFE) flight software test program elements.

  • SDO: KeyLogic personnel lead the effort to develop the use cases and activity diagrams to constitute the SDO Mission Basic Reference Model to be utilized for independent validation purposes.  KeyLogic personnel provide support for technical analysis in the implementation and test program phases of the IV&V effort, providing analysis support for the evaluation of the SDO spacecraft flight software code and test program elements.
