Through this
subcontract, KeyLogic provides support to the NASA IV&V Facility in the
area of Project Management and Independent Verification and Validation
(IV&V) Technical Services for Northrop Grumman prime contract
NNG05CB17C. Specific tasking in this area includes programmatic support
in the area of project leadership and management as well as technical
support in the areas of verification (full lifecycle: requirements,
design, implementation, and test) and validation (development of
reference models and utilization of reference models for validation
purposes) in support of IV&V task orders.
At present, KeyLogic
personnel are supporting the Gamma Ray Large Area Space Telescope (GLAST),
Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO), and Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO)
IV&V efforts in the following ways:

GLAST:
KeyLogic personnel serve as the project lead for this IV&V effort.
KeyLogic personnel also provide support for technical analysis in
the test program analysis phase, specifically leading the Command
and Data Handling (C&DH) test plan/procedure analysis effort as well
as conducting detailed analyses of C&DH test procedures.

LRO:
KeyLogic personnel serve as the project lead for this IV&V effort.
KeyLogic personnel lead the effort to develop the use cases and
activity diagrams to constitute the LRO Mission Basic Reference
Model to be utilized for independent validation purposes. KeyLogic
personnel provide support for technical analysis in the design and
implementation phases of the IV&V effort, providing analysis support
for the evaluation of the LRO spacecraft flight software design and
code. KeyLogic personnel provide support for technical analysis in
the test program phases of the IV&V effort, providing analysis
support for the evaluation of the LRO Core Flight Executive (cFE)
flight software test program elements.

SDO:
KeyLogic personnel
lead the effort to develop the use cases and activity diagrams to
constitute the SDO Mission Basic Reference Model to be utilized for
independent validation purposes. KeyLogic personnel provide support
for technical analysis in the implementation and test program phases
of the IV&V effort, providing analysis support for the evaluation of
the SDO spacecraft flight software code and test program elements.

In addition to the
aforementioned IV&V efforts, KeyLogic personnel have provided support
for the following additional efforts:

Phoenix:
KeyLogic personnel
served as the lead analyst for spacecraft flight software
(requirements, design, code, test) and as lead analyst for the
implementation phase (code analysis) on both the spacecraft and
instruments.

SDO:
KeyLogic personnel
served as the project lead for this IV&V effort.

THEMIS:
KeyLogic personnel
served as the project lead for this IV&V effort. KeyLogic personnel
also provided support for the resolution of technical issues during
the final phases of the IV&V effort as the THEMIS project headed
towards a January 2007 launch.
